It’s been a tough time for the Edmonds community. We won’t know for some time what the full toll the Covid-19 virus outbreak is having on our health, our families, and our sources of income.
Sound IT is feeling similar pain.
For many though, some of the stress during this time comes from our computers. Are they safe from hackers? Does our software have the latest updates and patches? Who will help me if my computer breaks down?
We are all on this roller-coaster ride together. We have rolled out several FREE services to the Edmonds community that we hope reduces some of the computer pain small businesses and residents may be experiencing. They include:
At the bottom of the page you’ll find out more about what we’re doing to support the Edmonds community at-large.
If there’s anything you feel you can do to help out your fellow Edmonds business partners and neighbors, get involved! Let’s all shorten this ride together as best we can!
An increasing number of people are isolating themselves in their homes. They are relying on their computers like never before. This period is the most important time ever to make sure your computers are secure, reliable, and cared for 24/7.
Visit the MSP LITE page to learn more about Sound IT’s offer to Edmonds residents and businesses for a FREE 3 month trial of our Managed IT services.
We are also providing free 30 minute technical assessment/consultation calls FOR EDMONDS BUSINESS OWNERS ONLY.
Our aim is to help our community's business owners leverage IT to maximize their company's effectiveness during this difficult time. We also want to do our part to help protect the health of their employees and the community as a whole. If you are an Edmonds business owner and have questions about working from home and using tech to weather the Coronavirus, please contact us.
These are hard times. Many community members are short on funds. Unfortunately, keeping the technology of community members up and running is more important than ever. Sound IT is offering FREE technical support tickets to Edmonds residents and businesses to keep local computers functioning smoothly.
Of course, our commitments to current, paying clients have to come first. However, we are seeing a slowdown in our regular technical support business. Rather than lay off employees or cut hours for our team, we hope to utilize their time to work on these free tickets as their time and workload allows. Of course, clients have the ability to convert a free ticket to a standard paid or urgent priority if they choose to. (We would appreciate that very much.)
Allow your team to access their computers at work through secure connections. The software licenses for the robust connections cost us $50 per user. We will install the software on each of your computers AT COST; that is, $50 per user. This is a month-to-month service with no annual commitment.
With COVID-19, we've been handling requests for remote work left and right. We have put together a "COVID-19 Remote Working Checklist" PDF to help businesses and employees understand what they need to do to make working from home work for them.
This is a hard time for everyone and we want to do whatever we can to help our community's businesses survive and thrive through this crisis so this PDF is provided free of charge. (You don't even have to give us your email address)
This is a crazy time. In crisis, traditional, rigid structure isn't always best.
We have changed our phone system to allow phone calls 24/7. We need money to get through this crisis, and our community needs technical support. It's a win-win. Keep in mind that support outside our normal support hours is not eligible for free support and requires credit purchase.
We, like many small businesses are encountering a cash-flow crisis. In spite of this, we are committed to meeting our financial obligations, weathering the storm, and helping our community as much as is possible.
The biggest thing that you can do to help "flatten the curve" economically for us is to pre-purchase blocks of technical support time. To learn more about support credits Click Here.
We rely on our recurring revenue. It provides us with consistency and security to confidently invest in improving.
When you become a member, you will be giving us financial security, reliability, and support. In return, you'll get technical security, reliability, and support.
A rising tide lifts all boats. Any help you give our community, indirectly, or directly helps us too. We encourage you to reach out to other local businesses or community support organizations to support in any way you can.
Charlie has been working with community leaders and city officials to create KeepEdmondsStrong.com as a starting point with resources for helping our community support each-other through this crisis.
